Create an Experience

Whether you have an online or offline business, one thing that all Badass Marketers need to know is that your customers want to have an experience. Consumers have come to expect and demand an experience of some sort. Whether you own a chain of restaurants, a local café, a bookstore, a weight loss clinic, a hardware store, a graphic design business or a whoop-de-doo website, you are obligated to create an atmosphere for buying.

Your atmosphere should be welcoming, user friendly (there’s that word again) or easy to navigate, pleasant, thoughtful or consistent. Make it easy and pleasurable for customers to walk through your door, call you on the phone, get an email reply, navigate your website, or read your blog. If it's difficult or frustrating, your customer will walk away and find an easier path elsewhere.
